Explorations, NM + VT

Some close-to-home adventuring over the past couple weeks - also, great photo opportunities.

September 1 - hiking in Placitas, NM

dead trees are beautiful, too

September 6 - biking out in Narnia (as I call it - the undeveloped outskirts of my neighborhood). These photos were also taken with my phone.

bouquet of wildflowers

call me - I don't have a crosscut anymore, but...
It feels so good to have a camera in my hands again. Don't get me wrong - I've taken some pretty good photos on my phone recently, but there's nothing like an actual button to close the shutter, manually altering the exposure, direct focus controls... There's just so much more I can do with my Lumix, and my photoshoot today just made me so happy. That's all I wanted to say. Hope you enjoyed the pictures, and, of course, there will be more the next time I have an impromptu photoshoot!
